Lafayette Court Apartments

Lafayette Court Apartments

Lafayette Court Apartments is comprised of two historic buildings constructed in the 1750s and used by George Washington to plan the Battle of Brandywine during the Revolutionary War.

These buildings were historically renovated and converted into 18 modern apartments for low income senior citizens. The project sponsor, Wilmington Senior Center, provides supportive services to over 2,500 seniors annually. Wilmington Senior Center will also be the project's property manager.

This $4.3 million re-development is financed with federal and state historic tax credits, conventional loans, and local grants. CCA represented the Wilmington Senior Center as the development consultant.
