Brightway Commons

Brightway Commons

Brightway Commons is an 80-unit acquisition/rehabilitation development located in Milford, Delaware. Built in the 1970s, the property underwent substantial rehabilitation including conversion to individual high efficiency heat pump systems and Energy Star compliant features. Project renovation also included construction of a new community center and playground.

CCA's financing strategy combined State funds and 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) to minimize property debt while still providing over $50,000 of improvements for each unit.

The complex is being developed for Volunteers of America, Inc., a National non-profit housing and development company.
