Lisa Beacham is a real estate development professional with expertise in affordable housing and community development. Using her extensive experience and special insight into community issues, she leads and coordinates CCA’s diverse real estate and community development projects.
Prior to joining CCA, Ms. Beacham worked as a consultant for various non-profit and for-profit companies. Her services included project analysis, development services, proforma development and the preparation of funding applications. She also provided staff and board training on topics such as real estate development, affordable housing funding sources and asset management.
Previously, Ms. Beacham was the Housing Developer and Real Estate Development Director for two community-based nonprofit organizations. She was responsible for all aspects of the projects from initial planning and acquisition through construction and sale or transfer to property management. The projects ranged from new construction to warehouse loft conversions and renovated apartment buildings.
Ms. Beacham holds a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia and has completed graduate course work in City Planning at the University of Pennsylvania.
